2022 Nissan Altima Sedan

The Nissan Altima is a mid-size sedan produced by Nissan Motor Company since 1992. In 2018, the 6th generation of the car debuted. In 2022, the car waited for a planned restyling, which is designed to support demand.

The top version of the 2022 Nissan Altima has gained a new media system with a 12.3-inch widescreen screen with improved graphics. The system supports synchronization with a smartphone via Apple Carplay (Android Auto is connected via a wire) and can work for distributing Wi-Fi internet. Wireless charging of smartphones has also been introduced. The simple versions have the same 8-inch screen. The Safety Shield 360 security complex, which includes automatic emergency braking, lane control, blind spot monitoring, automatic high beam control, and all-round cameras, is included in the basic package. ProPilot adaptive cruise control is available for an extra charge.

Units

The technical part of the update was not affected. Nissan Altima 2022/2023 in the US is still equipped with 2.0 or 2.5-liter gasoline engines. The 2-liter turbo engine is based on the front-wheel drive version of the SR, has an automatic compression ratio system and produces 251 hp. The 2.5-liter in front-wheel drive models develops 191 hp., for all-wheel drive - 185 hp. Both are complemented by a stepless variator.

Altima for China

The restyled version of the Nissan Altima for China is the same sedan, but produced in China and adapted to the local market. The 2022 Chinese Altima gets new headlights and taillights with new shapes and graphics. It has its own bumpers, original grille and extended chrome decor, and the model name on the trunk lid has become much larger. The car will continue to be equipped with a 2-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 243 hp., which is combined with a variator and front-wheel drive. Another option is a 2.0 atmospheric engine (156 hp).
