End of the long wait Tesla unveiled its latest achievement, the 2024 Tesla Cybertruck, at its Gigafactory event in Austin, Texas. The first buyers have already received the keys to their future cars, radiating power and reliability.
The Tesla Cybertruck is more than just a car, it's a symbol of engineering innovation. With a bulletproof body and a huge towing capacity of 11,000 pounds, it's considered one of the best trucks in the class. With a range of 547 kilometers (approximately 340 miles) per charge and an incredible 0 to 100 km/h (approximately 0 to 60 mph) acceleration of 2.6 seconds, the Cybertruck outperforms even most sports cars. During the demonstration, it passed a brand new 2023 Porsche 911 while towing it on an overpass, just for the sake of “kidding” and showing off. During the demonstration, Musk said the Cybertruck weighed 3,084 kilograms (about 6,800 pounds), a weight that proves its structural strength. It has 845 horsepower and can cover a quarter mile (approximately 400 m) in 11 seconds. Its less wild brother, the twin-motor Cybertruck Z, makes 600 horsepower and accelerates to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. While we don't have exact power figures for the single-motor Cybertruck yet, Tesla claims it will hit 60 mph in 6.5 seconds.
The scale of the numbers is slightly different from 2019. Currently, the dual-engine model has the longest range, with an estimated range of 340 miles (approximately 547 kilometers). Interestingly, while the Cyber Beast's power has been greatly improved, its cruising range isn't far behind, reaching 320 miles (about 515 kilometers). The estimated flight range of the single-engine model is 250 miles (about 402 kilometers).
The single-engine base model, the Cybertruck, will cost $60,990 but won't be available until 2025, meaning there's still plenty of time for changes. Dual-motor models with AWD (all-wheel drive) cost significantly more, starting at $79,990. As you'd expect, the top model Cyberbeast is the most expensive, with a suggested retail price (MSRP) of $99,990. All in all, it's not that much considering what it does.
Its outer surface is clear and made of ultra-hard stainless steel that resists dents, damage and corrosion. Additionally, it features bulletproof glass windows that can withstand impacts of up to 70 mph (approx. 113 km/h) or size 4 hail. With a towing capacity and payload capacity of 1,134 kg (approx. 2,500 lbs), the Cybertruck can handle the toughest tasks and does it better than most of its competitors.
But the Cybertruck isn't all numbers and power. Inside, passengers can immerse themselves in comfort and technology. Large 18.5-inch screens and 9.4-inch screens for rear passengers and an advanced user interface will create an unforgettable experience. The car is equipped with 15 speakers, including two dedicated subwoofers, providing studio-quality sound.

For those who enjoy adventure and exploration, the Tesla Cybertruck offers ample storage space and cargo capacity. It can be used to explore distant places, the range on a single charge is up to 547 kilometers, and supercharging allows you to restore the range to 200 kilometers in just 15 minutes.
The 2024 Tesla Cybertruck is more than just a car, it's a journey into the future and the embodiment of Musk's vision for the future. With advanced technology, ballistic protection and incredible performance, the Cybertruck sets new standards in the automotive world. Pricing and available configurations have not yet been fully announced, but it is clear that the Tesla Cybertruck will shape the future of automotive manufacturing. As Musk says, “We are entering the wilderness,” and the Cybertruck is our guide to the future. The Cybertruck is more than just a vehicle, it's an exciting journey into the unknown.
