1. Lamborghini Miura Jota

This car had a great sporting potential. Its creators gave it the best aluminum body they could only make. The car has got incredibly wide tires and a rapid engine. The car was made by Bob Wallace, a designer from Australia. Ferruccio Lamborghini did not approve its creation and promotion at the expense of racing. So, he ordered to destroy the car. The designer refused to do this and sold the supercar to a rich anonymous collector. Ironically, just a year later the car crashed into an accident and was no longer subject to restoration.

2. Lamborghini Jarama Rallye

It’s another creation of Wallace. Thanks to the Australian master, the car got an updated running and braking part. The suspension was brought to an ideal ratio. The curb weight of the car was only 2579 ft. The maximum speed at the same time aspired to 186 mph.

3. Lamborghini Urraco «Bob»

The last car made by one of the best designers of the company. As before, Bob Wallace used aluminum and fiberglass as basic materials. However, there were several fundamentally new solutions in the car. First, the car received a rigid security cage. Secondly, in 1973 the car received the best 6-speed gearbox, which could only be obtained. Thirdly, this is the only Australian car that participated in the race.

4. Lamborghini Countach Evoluzione

Since the mid-80s of the last century, the manufacturer began to make a serious emphasis on the use of composite materials in the car creation. Unlike the serial model, the body of this car was made of the lightest carbon monocoque. Kevlar, carbon fiber and aluminum were also used for the creation of the body panels. All this helped the supercar to ‘lose weight’ to 2160 ft. Its 480 hp V12 engine allowed accelerating up to 198 mph without problems.

5. Lamborghini Diablo GT1 Stradale

In the 90s of the 20th century, the company finally decided to try its hand at the endurance race. Despite the full visual similarity with its serial brother, Diablo was fundamentally different in its filling. So, the working volume of the engine was increased up to 6 liters, and its capacity was raised to 655 ‘horses’. The car’s weight was 2314 ft. Unfortunately, in 1997, due to financial problems, this project was decided to turn off.

6. Lamborghini Diablo GTR

Another luxury ‘devil’ in the track performance. In total, the company built 40 cars of this model. Unlike other sports cars, GTR were not just custom samples of originals, but the models created from scratch. To reduce the weight of this car, the creators decided to get rid of some of the important systems for racing, for example, of the air conditioner. Despite all this, the car could not show itself on the road.

7. Lamborghini Diablo VTTT
