Exterior

The design of Audi A4 2017 has changed evolutionary, not revolutionary. The silhouette, shape and size of the sedan have been preserved. The most striking element of the new Audi A4 was the optics, which received a stepped design. For cars, there are several options for high-tech headlamps: LEDs, matrix and basic xenon.

The front part of the sedan is made in the traditional style for the brand and practically does not differ from other Audi models. The front end is expressed by a huge hexagonal radiator grille with horizontal chrome ribs occupying the entire central part.

Audi A4 2017 optics received an aggressive broken design with two zigzags of LED DRLs and several “pupils”. Trapezoidal air intakes with two horizontal ribs are placed along the edges in the lower part.

Premium "European" is immediately visible in the profile of the car. The design cannot be called complex, but the lines form the correct shape and relief, making it clear that the car we see before us is not a cheap one of Asian origin.

The effect is enhanced by many details: a shark fin antenna on the roof, chrome edging glasses, a little looking chrome exhaust tips, large alloy wheels with low profile tires and large brake discs. 

Interior

The Audi A4 2017 Sedan has a fairly large size - it turned out some millimeters smaller than its older brother A6 C7. By virtue of which, the interior of the new Audi “four” is one of the most spacious in the class. Compared with the previous generation A4, the new one became 24 mm more spacious above the head, and the knees of the rear passengers received 23 mm more space.

The salon of the new model Audi A4 2017 is made with German pragmatism. You will not find a lot of expensive materials in it, but everything is thought out and done in German quality.

The car has a pleasant 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel, supporting the sporty character of the car and the instrument cluster, which is offered in two versions - standard or virtual (optional). It perfectly copes with its tasks, providing in a convenient form all the necessary driver data.

As mentioned at the beginning, despite a similar appearance, judging by which update can be taken as a restyling, rather than a change of generations, the Audi A4 2017 is a completely new car that has switched to the modern MLB evo platform.

So, we have a four-door five-seater sedan with a length of 4,726 mm, a width of 1,842 mm, a height of 1,427 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. Curb weight, depending on the engine and transmission, varies from 3075.4 to 3494.3 lb.

Suspension of the 2017 A4 is independent spring: front - on double wishbone, and behind - multi-link. Disc brakes are on both axles, but front ones are ventilated. Wheels are 205/60 R16 - 225/50 R17.
