In May 2016, the sixth generation of the iconic Chevrolet Camaro was presented in Detroit. In comparison with the previous generation, the car retained its corporate style, but became much more technologically advanced and received an expanded list of equipment.

It is worth noting, that in comparison with the 5th generation, the new Camaro has become noticeably smaller — in particular, the length, width, height and wheelbase have been reduced by 50, 20, 12 and 41 mm, respectively.

In contrast to the exterior, the interior of the restyled Camaro has not undergone any external changes, and the main updates came with the installation of a more advanced multimedia system and more modern electronic assistants.

Our Camaro has a2-liter four-cylinder Ecotec, generating 275 HP and a peak thrust of 400 Nm. The car can accelerate up to 240 km/h. Fuel consumption in combined mode is barely more than 8 l/100 km. The new Camaro is based on the Alpha rear-wheel drive "cart", which is also used on the latest-generation Cadillac CTS sedans. However, it is worth noting that in contrast to the version for CTS, the platform has been improved by more than 70%.

The suspension of the car is represented by an aluminum multi-link with McPherson struts and a steel five-link front and rear, respectively. Brembo brake mechanisms are installed on the car: in front - 4-piston with a disc diameter of 320 mm, in the rear - 1-piston with a disc diameter of 315 mm.

Steering is represented by the presence of an electric power amplifier.
