It must also be replaced no later than specified in the service plan. And finally remember the fact that if you drive a little, it does not mean that the oil does not lose its properties.

The turbo engine should be used with care

A significant portion of modern engines, including gasoline engines, are equipped with a turbocharger. This component is extremely thermally loaded, so care must be taken. It's definitely not a good idea to use full engine power at low revs immediately after starting, even if the supercharged engine's properties are tempting. It is even more important to make sure that the turbo cools down after a fast ride, for example, on the highway. Although the turbocharger is made of strong materials, it is usually not designed for the thermal loads associated with a sudden engine shutdown. Heat shock, when the heat source suddenly disappears in the form of hot exhaust gases, causes uneven cooling of individual parts. How can this be prevented? In most cases, it is not necessary to leave the engine idling for several minutes. In fact, just drive the last few kilometers slowly before stopping, and the turbocharger will cool down while driving on its own.

Exhaust recirculation

Most modern engines, both petrol and diesel, combine direct injection with exhaust gas recirculation. It is recirculation, so-called EGR, that causes engine charring, a process in which a black residue consisting of unburned fuel, sintered oil, and exhaust particles gradually forms on the intake, on the valves, and in extreme cases also on the spark plugs and pistons. However, there is no simple and guaranteed prevention, but you can take several steps to prevent it from forming in the engine. The basis is to avoid short trips with a cold engine. You must also use the engine oil prescribed by the manufacturer and it must be delivered in its original undamaged packaging. In addition, you need to fill up at a proven gas station.

Tires only work well at the right pressure

When did you check the tire pressure? Here, as in the case of oil, the air pressure in the tires should be checked regularly. Only a properly inflated tire will ensure optimal driving performance and a long service life. Under-inflated tires can brake better, but they will quickly slip off the disc when cornering. On the other hand, over-inflated tires that quickly wear out in the middle of the tread and bounce off impacts plus accelerate suspension wear.

Cleanliness - the basis of reliability

Dirt is an abrasive paste and at the same time is an ideal environment in which corrosion can occur in places of chips on the body. Dirty glass, in turn, accelerates the wear of the wipers and is easier to scratch. All deposits can be safely removed only with pressurized water and shampoo.
