Infiniti Q50 2020: a worthy competitor to the German business class

If earlier the cars of the Infiniti brand were just beautiful and quite comfortable, now they can easily compete with the main representatives of the business class in the world - the big German three. To do this, one of the company's sedans, the Q50, was restyled. The new model still remains easily recognizable, but thanks to the introduction of some new details, it still looks much more solid and aggressive than its predecessor. There have been changes inside the car: Infiniti Q50 2020 will be much more comfortable than its predecessor. 

Appearance

Design has always been one of the main advantages of all cars of this Japanese brand, and the new body is no exception. You can find here an abundance of undulating terrain, a large number of chrome parts, very aggressive optics, traditional air intake systems, as well as other decorations. 

The front part is still recognizable here. It has a long length, low landing and a serious slope with a rounded shape, which has a positive effect on visibility, aerodynamics, and overall appearance. There is also a whole scattering of undulating terrain, the bulk of which is collected on the hood. The lid is followed by the brand's proprietary air intake system, which has an almost rectangular shape. It boasts a wide chrome frame, a very fine black mesh, which is also recessed into the body, as well as the Infiniti brand icon located in the center. Next to the upper border of the air intake, on each side of it, there are large headlamps, which got a triangular shape. They will be filled with high-quality led lights in any configuration

Body kit also looks aggressive. On it, you can notice an additional air intake that improves the cooling of the engine compartment, which already takes a rectangular shape and is also sunk into the body. On the sides of it, there are small recesses framed by chrome lines, as well as fog inserts and grilles, through which the brake system is cooled. Side view of the car looks more solid. Here you can observe large windows that have a traditional shape for them. They will be framed by a thin chrome line, and separated by a narrow pseudo-resistant body painted in black gloss. There are also almost oval rearview mirrors, which have the same black color and are equipped with turn signal repeaters. The remaining space on the profile is complemented by chrome door handles, an abundance of undulating relief, and other decorations. The rear part of the body received a sporty appearance. It is located quite high and has a short length. It all starts here with the trunk lid, which is decorated with a small ledge at the end. Then the door will get a variety of terrain, aggressive dimensional signals connected by a chrome strip, and chrome nameplates.

Interior

New Infiniti Q50 2020 model year will be perfectly executed inside. The car will be able to boast a chic interior, in which everything will be finished with genuine leather, metals, a small amount of fabrics and plastic. 

The dashboard is neatly made here. On it you can find a pair of touch monitors that allow you to configure all the functionality of the car. They are flanked by deflectors and analog buttons, and the design of the center console is completed with a shield that also includes analog controls. The passage to the tunnel is organized here using a small compartment for things, covered with a curtain. The tunnel itself includes only a technical panel, cup holders and an armrest with a refrigerator inside.

The seats in the car provide all passengers with a high level of comfort thanks to leather trim, heating, ventilation, side support and electric adjustments in several directions. 

Technical specifications 

Infiniti Q50 2020 has only petrol engines. The base is a two-liter unit for 211 horses. More interesting is the three-liter engine, the power of which reaches the mark of 405 horses. Both options are paired with a seven-gear automatic gearbox. The starting version has a rear-wheel drive, while the more powerful version has a full drive. As the test drive showed, the car has excellent dynamics, and also does not spend much fuel.
