Exterior

The exterior of the model is quite similar to its older brother - Cherokee. However, there are still some features that make the car look original. The vehicle’s dimensions are average - and passengers can easily fit in, and there will still be room for cargo.

The front of the car is at a decent height. The muzzle itself is short. All this gives the driver a greater advantage on the road. The hood cover is decorated with a small relief - a protrusion on the central part. Further on the photo you can see the Jeep company radiator grille - a long strip of black chrome, in which several rectangular small-sized vertical cutouts are located. At the edges of this line there are modest-sized headlights with xenon filling.

The main aggression of the machine is contained in the body kit. It includes a solid metal insert to protect the engine compartment, as well as the body itself from damage. Here is another air intake strip. Cutouts for cooling the brakes placed just below the main optics also look beautiful. Inside these elements there is additional lighting - dipped and fog lights.

The profile part is performed in a little more modest, but no less stylish manner. Glasses of an unusual shape around the perimeter stand out especially strongly here. Square wheel arches with a small offset also look interesting.

Interior

The interior of the car is definitely not premium, but it can’t be called uncomfortable either. The new Jeep Compass 2019 model year has a finishing of leather, aluminum and good fabric. Also, a decent amount of various equipment was added here, the task of which is to provide everyone who is in the cabin with comfort and safety.

Most of the center console is occupied by a huge touch-screen multimedia screen, with which all the options are customizable. Everything else is concentrated around it - large triangular deflectors on the sides, and from the bottom you can find a panel with analog elements that regulate the climate control of the car. Next, there is already a connection with the tunnel. In this part, a washer with chassis settings and connectors such as USB, AUX and others are placed. The tunnel itself consists only of a gear knob, a parking brake, a couple of cup holders and an armrest that cannot be removed anywhere.

There is nothing new in the design of the steering wheel - it is completely traditional here and coincides with those that are put on other models. Small in size with leather trim and comfortable grip. Two rather large knitting needles depart from the round center, on which the designers placed many buttons. Also here you can find a dashboard familiar to Jeep lovers with two wells and an on-board computer between them.

As for the chairs, a lot of work was also done on them. Each seat has a leather finishing, soft filling and a variety of additional options: good lateral support, electrically adjustable seat positions in several directions, as well as ventilation, but only in an expanded configuration. The back seats are also convenient. Here you can find heating and a multifunctional armrest, reclining from the central part of the back.

Specifications

The characteristics of the Jeep Compass 2019 engine range are not impressive, but they are still enough to solve most problems. The engine here is only a two-liter one, but its performance varies depending on the fuel used. On gasoline, it produces 166 forces, and on diesel - 170. A six-speed gearbox with manual or automatic operation is paired with them. You can choose a drive - front or full. A test drive of the car shows that it moves well both on a flat road and off-road.
