Inside, the Jeep Compass is unlikely to please our customers too much, who are accustomed to the fresh look of Asian designers.

Indeed, the Americans from Jeep got stuck in the year so 2008. Absolutely everything in the cabin is rounded. In the fabric version, it looks even tolerable. But in the top versions, where the finish is represented by glossy leather, the interior will be clearly for an amateur.

The steering wheel has a thick rim, the torpedo has an indistinct shape, even in the top-end configuration, the screen is extremely small, the center console shines with bright colored buttons, without adding any solidity, the central tunnel is just as indistinct.

Nevertheless, the thing you can praise the Compass for is the chairs. Americans love comfort, and so does everyone else. The chairs turned out to be large and enveloping. Moreover, there is a nice high armrest. The convenience here is the main feature.

Technical specifications

The gasoline engine is represented by a 4-cylinder inline atmospheric engine. The working volume is 2.4 liters. One of the features is the presence of an injection distributor and gas distribution.

In the basic configuration, customers will be offered 150 hp at 229 Hm. The top version will get boosted to 175 hp at 237 Hm. There will be no transmission options. There is an alternative 9 automatic transmission with a reduced first gear.
