The company was founded in 1963 and at first it was engaged in the production of tractors. The story was as follows: Ferruccio Lamborghini was the owner of the Ferrari 250 GT and with some problem he turned to the owner of the Ferrari Company and offered some improvements, but received a rather gross refusal. As a result, he decided to create his sports cars, and so the Lamborghini 350 GT appeared. For all the time the company produced a large number of sports cars that received excellent sales, a lot of sports cars were also produced.

Lamborghini corporate design can rightly be considered an outstanding legacy of Italian modern art. Lamborghini cars, along with the generally accepted examples of painting or sculpture, are now highly valued both in monetary terms and in terms of their contribution to the development of world culture.

Original cars

Today, many car companies are developing their original models of supercars. Everyone knows that the main criteria were drawn up by the company Lamborghini in 1966. Then the company introduced its car Miura. It has everything that a supercar should have. This is a two-seater with fantastic hull lines. Long before the popularity of off-road vehicles, which peaked in the 1990s, the company made developments in this direction. The first car was the Cheetah, an unsuccessful attempt to create a car for the US military needs. Americans preferred the Humvee, but Lamborghini made no attempt. As a result, in 1986 appeared LM002. This car of Countach class has a V-shaped 12-cylinder engine and the main characteristics of the all-terrain vehicle, but also has the elements of a sports car, which is more characteristic of the Italian manufacturer. Various models have their own technical innovations, for example: carbon fiber body, high-tech V12 engines. The original car style was developed by Franco Scaglione, Touring, Zagato, Mario Marazzi, Bertone, ItalDesign and Marcello Gandini - known worldwide.

In 2001, the branded museum - Museo Lamborghini was opened in Sant’Agata Bolognese, in 2016 it was reconstructed and the expositions completely changed.

In March 2019, the Lamborghini Company, together with the Italian accessory brand Piquadro, released a new model of the backpack. Its presentation was made at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. The Piquadro Bagmotic Special-Edition Automobili Lamborghini backpack, produced in just 63 copies, was created from high-tech materials used in Lamborghini cars: Alcantara faux suede, carbon fiber, and smooth and grainy skin. The design of the sports car is inspired by the details of the backpack - an orange insert in the front, resembling the typical Y shape in the design of the car, particularly distinguished by the seats and headlights.
