New BMW 8 Series 2019 – the car of your dream

The Bavarian company BMW, in comparison with other similar companies, is not so old. It is "only" 102 years old. Nevertheless, during this time the Bavarians managed to make a huge number of cars. The company specializing in the production of luxury cars and crossovers planned the release of a significant number of new products for 2018-2019 with the aim of updating its model range. This is due to the desire of the manufacturer to consolidate and strengthen its position in the segment of premium vehicles.
At the exhibition Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este in 2017 the BMW company introduced the concept of the new model.
Coupe BMW 8 Series has already won an army of fans, although not much is known about the car. The car belonging to the Grand Tourism Class continues the traditions of the Bavarian company, though presenting a completely new design.
A new series of fast and charismatic sports coupe BMW 8-series is expected to be released in 2019.
The first model of the 8-series is supposed to be a sporty BMW Coupe in a two-door version.
But experts are unanimous in the opinion that the models of a cabriolet and 4-door version of the car will appear.

The concept car makes an indelible impression, which is achieved primarily due to such elements as:

•    sporty extended bonnet  shape;
•    large 21-inch wheels;
•    sloping roof;
•    the aggressive grille of the radiator in the recognizable BMW style;
•    narrow strips of LED head optics;
•    stylish car body punching;
•    integrated into the rear bumper exhaust pipes;
•    large diffusers, emphasizing the active character of the car.

Presented to the public concept also received:

1.    innovative digital instrument panel;
2.    sports seats with a carbon frame;
3.    three-spoke steering wheel, equipped with touch buttons;
4.    large monitor that provides convenient operation with navigation and multimedia systems;
5.    modern climatic installation.

Presented to the public car is equipped with a four-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, but experts believe that the serial BMW 8 series, which should be on sale in the second half of 2019, will receive a wider range of power units. It is also expected that an economical hybrid model will be run into batch production.

Unfortunately, it’s difficult to say something concrete about the vehicle interior yet. Nevertheless, we can say about the traditional luxury trimming with natural leather and carbon inserts and the abundance of chrome trimming. A huge touchscreen with a virtual dashboard is expected to appear on the central panel. The steering wheel will be absolutely unusual - it will take a lot of time in order to get used to it.
It's nice to note that externally the serial version of the BMW 8-Series Coupe almost exactly repeats the BMW 8-Series Concept shown in 2017. The car retained the overall concept design, but it got slightly wider headlights (of course, completely LED) and smaller nostrils of the radiator grille. The front bumper looks not as formidable as a prototype.
It's a pity that the rear end of the BMW 8-Series was not as spectacular as the concept, but the stern of the large two-door Bavarian coupe looks wonderful. The car has a luggage compartment cover of intricate shape, elegant LED parking lights and a powerful bumper with a number of aerodynamic elements and large-sized trapeziums of the exhaust pipe nozzles.
The beginning of the mass production of the BMW 8-Series Coupe is scheduled for the beginning of 2019, but there is no official information concerning the price of the model. Experts believe that the new car will compete with the Mercedes S-Class Coupe which cost exceeds 150,000 euros.
In the future, the lineup will be kept up by the more powerful BMW M8 Coupe. Most likely, it will be equipped with a 600-strong version of the same engine as the BMW M5 2018 has. Moreover, the Bavarian company is planning to release the BMW 8 Series Cabriolet.
